Jeep Safari Excursion (UAE, Dubai) – Desert Drive

When we placed an order for a tour, we were promised an unforgettable programme, which was confirmed by colourful photos on the advertising booklet. But we went not only for new impressions, but also to make an interesting photo shoot for my wife’s Instagram. By the way, it’s a great location for those who are considering the topic of future shooting locations.

A large SUV with a colourful driver behind the wheel arrived at the hotel. The presence of an additional safety cage in the cabin, covered with something soft, was noteworthy.

The first destination did not attract anything special, but according to the idea, tourists are taken here for additional emptying of their wallets, obsessively offering to buy something or to be photographed together with a falcon. From entertainment, the possibility to ride for extra money on quad bikes on local sands.

After being there with half an hour, we went to conquer huge dunes. Well, how to conquer? The driver did it, and we clutched our hands on the handrails and watched in horror. It was scary and exciting at the same time. After a couple of uphills and downhills, we were begging for mercy, demanding to stop producing adrenaline.

The driver, having done one more cycle of barchan freestyle, took pity on us.

After taking a few photos, we moved on. We were brought to a stylised Arab village, where a couple of hundred more adventurers like us were gradually brought. While we waited for dinner, we were offered free dressing up in traditional Arab attire, camel rides and Arabic henna tattoos.
The dinner itself was so-so, but it was included in the price of the tour. We returned in the dark.
