Jeep Safari Excursion After Sky-High Thrill

Took a 17 minute flight over Dubai and a jeep safari. Helicopter ride– you come to the police tally centre. You tell them your weight. There are five passengers in the helicopter. They’re assigned by weight. And they tell everyone where to sit. First you watch 5-10 minutes of film-theory about safety rules then you wait for your turn for 20-30 minutes. And here it is a flight. I liked the emotions: delight and scale. Of course, the metropolis is interesting to observe from a height. The pilot told us about the main places we flew over. You can ask him anything (you have the microphone on too).

Then we took a jeep to the desert. Drove about 1 hour and a little. First you come to the place where all jeeps gather (already in the desert), if you want for an extra fee, we were told 200$ – you can ride a quad bike / buggy. We refused. Then the driver lowers the pressure in tyres and here our car in a small column of 4 or 5 cars went inside the desert. They played us Arabian dynamic songs and started to drive along the sand dunes. It was exciting. I even closed my eyes in fear and shrieked with delight. We drove like that for about 30 minutes.

Then all the cars stand on the slope for a photo shoot. Our driver kindly took a photo of us. Very well, by the way. After about 20 minutes of photo session we drove on. Then we were driven a little more along the dunes and drove closer to the road to a special car park for such cars from the desert. There all the cars have their tyres inflated quickly. We drank coconut milk etc. in the meantime. Then they took us to an improvised camping site.

There was a stage set up under the open sky, and tables were arranged. Our company of 7 people was seated at one of the tables. By the way, there were still free tables and it was possible to move. There was a buffet, no frills, but there was enough food. Meat, vegetables, Indian rice and pasta, sweets, fruit and simple salads were in abundance. It was possible before dinner to take a free ride (one small circle) on a camel, to be photographed in oriental outfits (free of charge) and to make a small 3-4 cm henna tattoo.

If you want a big one, you have to pay extra. The stage was set up with fire dance, swords, belly dance.
There is about 2 hours for dinner. Alcohol and hookah is available – paid for. Then our driver picked us up and took us to the hotel.
