Jeep Safari Excursion – Adrenaline, Camels, and Compliments

I never in my life thought or even dreamed that I would go on a desert safari in a Toyota Land Cruiser. When I saw the sands and dunes, I didn’t fully understand what it would be: well, just a trip through the desert, moreover, here it is – a tarmac road. But noooo, it’s not that simple!

We arrived at a Bedouin village and rode camels for a while. They are so big!)

And then our ride on the sands began. It’s cooler than a roller coaster! I am sure (though I have never ridden on them).
I don’t know how to describe the emotions I experienced. I know how to screw myself up and a couple of times I thought for sure that we were about to overturn! But the skill of the driver (Salman) admires and amazes me to the core, as well as the manoeuvrability of the car.
And the sand… what sand is there! It is very fine and orange!

All this time with us was a couple Vitaly and Tatiana – super guys! We even managed to chat a bit about life. Tatiana speaks excellent English and often translated for us so that we didn’t get into awkward situations. She was surprised by the fact that we know English very badly, sorry)
After the rides, when we were charged with adrenaline for all 100, we were taken to dinner in a Bedouin village, where a buffet was waiting for us. But not only) Locals gave us a whole concert under the stars: we coolly danced zumba, watched a fire show,
it was not really hot!

Big thanks to Salman, because he decided to give us a little more ride and show us the night city. He told us in broken English what was where, played us songs and sang with us God, I’m in paradise!
At the end we thanked each other and Salman told me that I was beautiful)
And what do you think? I’m terribly tired from the emotions that have overwhelmed me all day, but this tiredness is of a different kind: it’s pleasant, giving a different perception of life, of its flavour…
