Greetings to all readers of the review! I want to share my impressions from one of the most intense and memorable entertainment in the Eastern fairy tale – the city of Dubai. This is a Toyota Land Cruiser jeep safari through the desert in the outskirts of the city of Dubai.
A car picked us up directly from the hotel and we are out of the city. The drive was quite long. The track is straight as an arrow, laid straight through the desert. It was surprising that sands sweep the road and special services clean the track from sand.
They brought us to a large site, where there were a couple of shops, rentals of buggies and quad bikes. Everyone who wished, for a fee, could drive on the dunes.
I naturally agreed.
The photo does not show the dunes, they are on the other side. You can get a huge dose of adrenaline, taking off on a quad bike on a huge sand mountain, just breathtaking! But you are always afraid that from the back side of the barchan someone is rushing to meet you in the same way.
Having had enough of riding we went to sit down in the cars. Here the most interesting thing began. Driving in the desert is not as easy as it seems. Drivers have a special licence to do it. Our driver was just a master of his trade, you can see that he is not just working, he gets a real high from this work. Huge speed, steep turns, sharp ascents and no less sharp descents – all this was enough. Many people squealed in their voices!
Next was a stop in the desert. I was surprised at how difficult it is to walk on sand, my feet literally get stuck, fall through, my shoes fill with sand. To climb even a small slope is almost a feat. There you could look at the real masters of the desert – camels.
