Always wanted to ride in the desert, touch the sand, enjoy the sunset in the desert.
So as soon as I flew to Dubai, practically on the second day me and my seven ordered the excursion “jeep safari”.
They picked us up near the hotel Hiraton, we lived there not far away. The excursion started at 16:00. The driver is a pleasant young man.
Sitting down we drove off. It wasn’t a long drive. We arrived at the show.
I understood that it was a sort of gathering place for all the cars. When all the cars arrived we were shown a little performance with a bird…. not just any bird.
A piece of meat quickly became prey.
Then they put this special device on his head so whoever wanted to could take a picture.
While everyone took pictures with the bird, we took pictures next to the dates!!!
After that everyone got into a car and started riding around the desert. At first we just drove at low speed, then a little bit more and rode from barchan to barchan, then a little more speed, but all within safety limits! It was great!
We were brought to a certain car park to watch the sunset! God, it’s beautiful!!!!
This is all of our cars, in the far background. The sand is very fine and pleasant to the touch. I do not recommend to go in slates! It’s better to wear sneakers or sneakers!
