Dubai Desert Safari: Where the Car Rocks More Than the Show

I booked the Desert Safari excursion at home on Sputnik, I don’t know which company organised this excursion, but in principle, they all go the same way. The price for the excursion is $35 per adult. For Dubai it is a very cheap excursion. I didn’t pay in advance, I paid for the excursion on the spot, to the driver.

So, on the appointed day, the driver on the Land Cruiser picked us up at our hotel, and we (the whole group of 6 tourists) went to the excursion.
Having photographed enough and walked around the desert, we get in the car again and continue our Safari.

The car again makes dangerous turns, but the car is quiet… the tourists are not fearful, nobody is afraid… the driver tries to scare everyone, but the result is that only two of our company gets seasick from a sharp ride… but still everyone is impressed, the car ride in the desert was very beautiful, interesting and exciting….

Then we hit the road, we make a quick stop in civilisation where we have a chance to tidy up. We are just all in the sand, hair from the wind is a complete loofah, I could comb them only at home barely))))) To get rid of the sand we are offered with the help of such hoses, which a large air pressure blows the sand from us.

There are vendors who offer to buy various statuettes, even desert sand… I wanted to answer them – “No thanks. I will bring your sand free of charge in my hair to the hotel, which I managed to “collect” in the desert myself.)))))

Well and the most important thing that happens here is dancing.
The first dance is a folk dance, as I realised. The guy spins on the spot for about 10 minutes, actively gesticulating with his hands. I liked this dance very much, even I got dizzy watching it, I don’t know how he was spinning so much and didn’t fall down))).

The next dance was a belly dance, but as it seemed to me “belly dance”, very ungroomed ladies with saggy bellies came out and started dancing. I did not even film it, I frankly was unpleasant to watch. But men glazed only so, even my husband liked it, he also said that it is a classic and I do not understand anything.))))) Well, yes, to look at saggy bellies – classic.)))

And the last dance was a fire show.
Here the guys were good, they did such a thing that there are no words.
Everyone liked it very much, watched the show in one breath.

Photo does not convey all the effects that the fire-show showed, the camera just did not keep up with them, but I will say that it was super!)))))

To summarise, I would like to note that I really liked the desert, I was very satisfied with it, so I recommend it.

The first point for the divorce of tourists frankly pissed me off, there was such a stuffiness and heat that a whole hour there seemed hell for me.

“Bedouin village” also not especially liked because of the fact that we were brought first, we waited an hour for other groups, and already wanted to eat … dances were not one after another, and also in time, frankly it was even a little boring, and other tourists even tried to break through to the stage to entertain others, while the dance was not …

So from the whole excursion I liked only desert safari by car, Bedouin village became a kind of disappointment, so the overall assessment I put 4 out of 5.
