The Jeep Safari excursion and the tour operator

Of course, the Jeep Safari excursion will differ from tour operator to tour operator, I want to tell you about the excursion organised by Coral (Dubai). I had originally chosen completely different excursions at the meeting with the guide, but then the guide said, “Don’t you want to see pink flamingos? After all, it’s the jeeps that will drive past them.” I have never seen pink flamingos in person, so the excursion was immediately paid for. Looking ahead, I want to say that we never saw any pink flamingos, it was the guide’s trick to lure tourists.

So, the collection at 14.00 near the hotel – we had an evening excursion. Several 7 seater jeeps came to pick us up and we set off.

Stop.

About 20 minutes after we drove away from the hotel we had to stop at a shop. I tried to explain to the driver that we didn’t need souvenirs, we didn’t want to waste time on that. But the driver said the car needed a stop and we needed to go to the toilet. Okay, okay. Through a huge long shop with shopkeepers, we went to the toilet. As we walked along, each vendor tried to tie an arafat on our heads, assuring us that we would not be able to make it in the desert without it. It was useless to explain to them that we were on a jeep, not a camel, and we didn’t need the arafat.

Desert.

We approached the desert along barbed wire fences. Our driver seemed to be the most knowledgeable one here, as we kept driving ahead of everyone else, or letting one car pass in front.

a whole pack of jeeps was moving leisurely. The driver warned us not to break his car, to fasten our seatbelts and only hold on to the seat. Never the ceiling!”

Photo.

The driver warned us that we should make a stop to keep a nice photo as a souvenir.
And then all the jeeps came to one place and people came out of them and immediately scattered across the desert for selfies.
The photos really turned out fabulous! Makes me want to dress up in themed clothes and capture this as a memory….

The tourists were not the only ones posing for photos)) The sun was setting over the horizon and we moved on. All the same company of jeeps performed some drifts.. And soon found ourselves near a Bedouin village. Before entering the village, we decided to take a camel ride. One lap is free. I had no idea that camels get up off their knees and up so abruptly.

Bedouin village.

To be honest, I can’t really call this place a village. So well organised! Our driver showed us where we could leave our things and where our table was. We will be sitting on cushions, so, the tables are very low.
